The inaugural Innovate – Australia’s Innovation Forum will be held in Wollongong 22nd September, 2003 at the WIN Entertainment Centre.
The forum’s theme will be the ‘From Idea to Profit’. An exciting program of national and International speakers, case study presentations offering practical experiences, professional advice sessions, an interactive trade expo and a gala networking evening will make this forum a must for any organisation expanding into regional Australia.

This year's conference is being hosted by the State and Regional Development Board, Wollongong University, the Australian Industry Group, Aus Industry and the Wollongong Image Campaign.
The Newcastle Stock Exchange will be speaking at this event.
It is anticipated some 300 delegates from diverse industries across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific will attend the conference bringing together industry and business, government, research and education to discuss and debate this important agenda for Australia.
The conference will focus on the theme of "Commercialising regional Technologies", a topic applicable to many aspects of the research and manufacturing industry such as emerging and existing technologies, image maintenance, and performance.
