Unique event attracts national interest

International and national investment and businesses are registering for the inaugural NSX: Investing In Innovation event in Newcastle next month. The NSX: Investing in Innovation 2002 will bring together investors, companies wishing to raise capital and organisations that provide services to both the investing community and to business on Friday 24 May 2002. General Manager of NSX, Scott Evans, said that a great number of registrations and enquires had already been received for the conference and exhibition. Companies and organisations participating in the event include: capital rasing specialists, financial advisers and planners, major stockbroking firms, representative business organisations, universities, human resource management consultants, financial institutions, manufacturers and business service providers. Mr Evans added that NSX: Investing In Innovation was also attracting special guest speakers will focus on both corporate and retail topics. Some of the Australia’s best known and some of our yet to be widely recognised companies and organisations will be on display at NSX: Investing In Innovation 2002 at Newcastle City Hall on Friday 24 May. General entry on the day will be free. NSX: Investing In Innovation is part of the Australian Innovation Festival. NSX is the second stock exchange authorised to operate under the Australian Corporations Law – the other being the ASX Listing requirements for NSX include a market capitalisation of $500,000 and a spread of 50 shareholders – compared to $10 million and 400 respectively to list on the ASX.
