Technology support software company SenterpriSys (NSX:SPS), once a subsidiary of Tamawood Limited, today announced it is listing on the National Stock Exchange after successfully completing its capital fund raising with an initial market capitalisaton of $7 million. SenterpriSys’s listing is a reinforcement of confidence in the National Stock Exchange’s strategy to become the new home for Australian start-ups and small to medium sized market caps looking to list and/or raise capital. In April 2012, Tamawood, divested its 100% stake in SenterpriSys. It has since retained a 23.56% stake in the company. SenterpriSys has lodged patent applications in Australia and the US to protect its software. The patents cover SenterpriSys worldwide while approval is pending. The system has taken 29 years to develop. SenterpriSys is responsible for the on-going support of Tamawood’s project management software, which includes the back-office and client interface processes as well as back-ups, hardware support and general IT maintenance support services. Furthermore, it also provides the back-office support to AstiVita Ltd and Advance NanoTek Ltd. It is developing an integrated enterprise management software designed to improve processes and end-to-end functionality for small to medium-sized home builders and contracting enterprises. Currently, SenterpriSys is developing a software application for small to medium home builders called SenterpriSys Builder. SenterpriSys Builder's commercial strategy is to distribute its software via the Australian Housing Industry Association’s (HIA) membership base. It is expected SenterpriSys’s estimating component will be offered to smaller volume HIA members free for an initial three-year period. The HIA have shown interest in SenterpriSys Builder as a way to address the increased compliance and regulatory pressures confronting HIA members.
